While I actually listen to this Count Mack and Brooke Candy song at least once a day (paired with an iced coffee and a little bit of twerking it really does wonders for your mid-afternoon slump), I’ve barely watched the video since the first time I saw it (which was ten days ago, we’re nothing if not timely here at Cultist). Why don’t I watch it all the time like the Kia commercial with the hamsters rapping (on Hamsterdam Ave! I die!)? Because it’s TOO awesome and thus makes me feel bad about the following things: my hair, my shoe collection, my nails, how much I need to go to the car wash, my lack of disposable cash, and my life in general (I have not once brought my own stripper to the strip club).

That being said, YOU should watch this video if not many times than at least two or three times because it is that good and will make you rethink your past hundred Friday nights. Featuring cameos from many uniquely-dressed (leopard cowboy hat! gold lame suit! all platformed everything!) individuals that I would really like to be friends with (and also a guest appearance by not only director Alex 2Tone aka What You Steal but also his ridiculously adorable dog Omar), the video features all the elements of a truly great time: a party bus, boobs, tons of cash, 90s fashion, rave lights, drag queens, and a strip club. All it needed was a pentagram and some candles and it would have been me and Alice’s Friday the 13th, 2010 (but that’s an entirely different story).
